The NC Courage Art Direction: Tradition

As the NC Courage moved from 2020 into 2021 they were in an era of rebuilding and finding the next generation of superstars that would lead to even more championships. With key stars like Debinha leading the way and some fresh new faces from youth development this team needed a new look that spoke to tradition and championships, but also something that hasn’t been seen from them before. Thus my proposed art direction highlighting gold and neutral colors that metaphorically speak to long-standing tradition (think Roman colosseum) but also the introduction of visual graphics displaying stats and individual achievement that is new to the brand. This is our Tradition.
