Bringing Union’s Story to the Screen
As Union College’s first internal video producer, I’ve spent over two years crafting visual narratives that celebrate its rich history and vibrant community. From short-form pieces to mini-documentaries, I’ve produced hundreds of films that highlight the people, places, and stories that make Union unique. I also built the foundation for the college’s video production standards—selecting gear, refining workflows, and setting the stage for storytelling that will continue for years to come. Below are some featured pieces from the growing library of work I’ve created for Union.
I produced and edited this profile for Union College featuring a varsity hockey player preparing to compete for Switzerland at the Paris Olympics. I led the project end-to-end, overseeing concept development, pre-production planning, cinematography, lighting design, and all post-production editing. Creatively, I chose a wide-angle interview composition that not only highlighted the athlete’s story but also intentionally showcased the recently renovated locker room, adding depth and visual context to the narrative.
This piece highlights two students who developed and launched a focus-assistance app called Tapd. I led the project from concept through final delivery, managing all aspects of production. The scope included multiple shoot days to capture both interviews and supporting b-roll, making it more complex than a typical profile. The project reflects my ability to coordinate logistics across several sessions, maintain strong time management, and efficiently organize and catalog a large volume of footage to ensure a cohesive final product.
This project involved more than twelve individual shoot days, all of which I independently scheduled and coordinated. The scope required careful planning and organization to capture a wide range of voices and perspectives across an entire academic department. I’m especially proud of how the interviews turned out—each conversation felt authentic and visually cohesive despite being filmed across multiple sessions. The final piece serves as a strong example of my ability to manage a complex, longer-form production while maintaining narrative clarity and production quality throughout.
